Spring is no slouch season in uptown Saint John.  The month is full of events, sports excitement, theatrical thrills, and lots of opportunities to get social. 

First things first, our appetizer to this month is the Fundy Food Festival on May 5.  If you love to please your palate, this is the event for you, and a great fundraiser for our Boys and Girls Club of Saint John.  Over thirty of SJ's most delicious under one roof, it's a must do.
Sea Dogs in the playoffs!  Go Dogs Go!

Hockey, hockey, hockey; our boys in blue, the Sea Dogs are making us proud once again as they are in the playoffs for the Q-League Championship.  Check out Harbour Station to be part of this extreme and wonderful mayhem.   For the ladies, two more terrific fundraisers: 'It's a Girl Thing,' May 6 at the SJ Arts Centre and 'A Day in Her Shoes,' May 9 at Market Square.  Get the girls together for these events and some deserved indulgence with a good conscience. 

Cirque Du Soleil Dralion comes to town May 9-13, always awesome!  And, do not forget our SJ Arts Awards "The Originals" on May 31!

Much more is happening uptown with special activities at the New Brunswick Museum, the Saint John Free Public Library, the Saint John Arts Centre, and The Canada Games Aquatic Centre.  

Evenings in uptown are alive as live music is a regular occurance at many of our uptown restaurants and night spots.  The Imperial Theatre has some lively shows on the bill, as well the Saint John Theatre Company.
